6. Place a cup under the hot water spout (if the hot water spout is
not inserted the display will show 'INSERT WATER SPOUT'). The
appliance displays 'HOT WATER PRESS OK'. Press the OK key
and after a few seconds a little hot water will come out of the
spout
7. The machine will display 'TURNING OFF...PLEASE WAIT' and
will turn off
8. Extract the appliance by pulling it out using the handles under-
neath the control panel (Fig. 5) Open the coffee bean cover (J)
and fill container with coffee beans. Close the cover and push
the appliance back in. It is now ready for normal use
Only fill the water tank with cold water. Never use other liquids
such as mineral water or milk.
To prevent malfunctions, never fill with ground coffee, frozen or
caramelised coffee beans or anything else that could damage
the appliance.

Use

Preparing coffee (using coffee beans)
This appliance is preset to make coffee
with a normal taste. You can also choose
coffee with an extra mild, mild, normal,
strong or extra-strong taste. There is also
a pre-ground coffee option.
To choose the required taste, press the
'Coffee strength' key (6) until the desired
strength is displayed.
1. Place one cup under the spouts to
make one coffee or two cups for two
coffees (Fig. 6)
2. Lower the spouts as near as possible to
the cup for a creamier coffee (Fig. 7)
3. Press the 'type/quantity of coffee' key
(8) to cycle through the options
• ESPRESSO CUP
• SMALL CUP
• MEDIUM CUP
• LARGE CUP
• MUG
4. Press the 'One cup' key (10) if you want to
make one coffee and the 'Two cup' key (11)
if you want to make two coffees
The appliance will grind the beans and delivers coffee into the cup.
Once the set amount of coffee has been delivered, the machine
stops automatically and expels the waste coffee into the waste
coffee container. After a few seconds the appliance is ready to use
again
