First use

The first time you switch on the appliance with
the main switch (see 'A' on page 8) and every
time that it is plugged in, the appliance executes
a 'SELF-DIAGNOSIS' action. Then the appliance
switches off. To turn it on again press the on/
stand by button (see 'A1' on page 8) on the left
side underneath the control panel.

Note: Coffee has been used in the factory to test the
appliance and is therefore completely normal for there to be
traces of coffee in the mill.
1. Connect the appliance to the mains
supply
2. Switch on the appliance with the main
switch (see 'A' on page 8)
3. Start the appliance with the 'on/stand by
button' (see A1 on page 8 or Fig. 3)
4. Set the required language by pressing
MENU and then OK, scroll through the
language options using keys 5 and 7 on
the control panel and press OK once
the desired language is reached. After
5 seconds, the appliance displays the
selected language
5. Extract the water tank, rinse and fill
with fresh water without exceeding the
MAX line, replace and push tank back in
(Fig.4)
