Inserting/Exchanging rotating gobos
CAUTION!

exchanging gobos or colors.
Lamp replacement
Because of its high internal pressure, there might be a ri s k that the Discharge lamp
could expl o de during operation. The lamp emits intense UV radi a tion which is
harmful to the eyes and skin. The high l u minance of the arc can cause severe
damage to the retina if you look directly into the l a mp source.
Alw ays switch off the main supply and never handle the lamp or luminaries w hen
it i s hot.
Do not touch the bul b with bare hands. If thi s happens, clean the l a mp with
alcohol and w ipe i t with a lint free cloth before installation.
The lamp generates UV radi a tion. Never operate the lamp without appropriate
shielding.
When burning, the lamp operates at high pressure and there i s a slight risk of arc
tube rupture. The risk i n creases w i t h age, temperature and improper handling of
the lamp. Do not use the lamp any longer than its specified life.
Make sure the lamp i s l o cated in the
center of the reflector for the best spot.
Adjust lamp posi t ion by screws A, B
and C.

When replacing lamp, please wait 15 minutes after
pow ering dow n to allow the unit cool dow n!

Open the cover by l o osening the fastening
screw at the sides of the cover. Remove
the "O" ring w ith tw eezers if avail a ble,
insert the new gobo and replace the "O"
ring.
CAUTION!
Never unscrew the screws of the
rotating gobo as the ball bearing will
otherw i s e be opened!
