Unpacking Instructions

Immediately upon receiving a fi x ture, carefully unpack the carton, check the contents to ensure that all parts are present, and have
been received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retai n packing material for inspection if any parts appear
damaged from shippi n g or the carton itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the carton and all packing material s . In the event that a
fixture must be returned to the factory, it is important that the fixture be returned i n the original factory box and packing.

Mounting

The unit should be mounted via its mounting system
( as show n to the right ) on the bottom of the base.
Use clamps to fi x the uni t to truss. Alw ays ensure that
the unit is firmly fi x ed to avoid vibration and slippi n g
while operating. Always ensure that the structure to
which you are attaching the unit is secure and i s able
to support a w eight of 30 kgs for each uni t .
This fixture may be mounted in any position
provided there i s adequate room for ventilation. It i s
important never to obstruct the fan or vents pathway.
Mount the fi x ture using, preferably the center
mounting holes and a suitable "C" or "O" type
clamp. Adj u st the angle of the fi x ture by loosening
both knobs and tilting the fixture. After finding the
desired position, retighten both knobs. When
selecting installati o n l o cation, take into consi d eration
lamp replacement access and routine maintenance.
Safety cables should always be used. Never mount in
places where the fixture w ill be exposed to rain, high
humidi t y, extreme temperature changes or restricted
ventilation.

Powering

To determine the pow er requirements for a particular fixture, see the label affi x ed to the back plate of the fixture or refer to the
fixture's specifications chart. A fixture's li s ted current rating is its average current draw under normal condi t ions. All fixtures must be
pow ered directly off a sw i t ched circui t and cannot be run off a rheostat (variabl e resistor) or dimmer circuit, even if the rheostat or
dimmer channel is used solely for a 0% to 100% sw i t ch. Before applyi n g power to a fi x ture, check that the source vol t age matches the
fixture's requirement. All fixtures must be connected to circui t s with a suitable Earth Ground. Check the fi x ture or device carefully to
make sure that if a voltage selection sw i t ch exi s ts that i t i s set to the correct line voltage you will use.
