10.5 Fitting a new lamp
The gauge is supplied with two replacement lamp assemblies. To change the lamp, follow the instructions
given below.
Note: If changing more than one lamp, mark the inline connectors to ensure correct connection.
1. Remove instrument case (See "Case removal and refitting" on page 27).
2. Identify the blown bulb, which will have a broken filament, and may also be blackened. Remove the
two retaining screws (Figure 6), so that it may be released.
3. Fit the new bulb, aligning it so that the filament is perpendicular to the angle at which the beam will be
directed (Figure 7)
