A belt tensior tester (P/N 414348200) may be used to measure deflection as well as force
applied.
WARNING!
Too much tension will result in power loss and excessive stresses on suspension com-
ponents.

CAUTION!
Too much tension will result in power loss and excessive stresses on suspension com-
ponents.
To adjust tension:
Loosen the rear idler wheel retaining screws.
Loosen the lock nuts (on some models only) then turn adjustment screws to adjust.
If correct tension is unattainable, contact an athorized Lynx service shop.
WARNING!
Do not check the track tension when engine is ON. Turn the ignition key to OFF position.
Rotating track is dangerous.
