Configure Audio Codec E16 series door phone support four types of Codec (PCMU, PCMA, G729, G722) for encoding and decoding the the audio data during the call session. Each type of Codec vary in terms of the sound quality. You can select the specific codec with different bandwidth and sample rate flexibly according to the actual network environment.

DHCP, PNP, TFTP, FTP, HTTPS are the protocols used by the Akuvox intercom devices to access the URL of the address of the third party server which stores configuration files and firmwares, which will then be used to to update the firmware and the corresponding parameters on the door phone.
