Service case: remove printhead manually
The print system Sicpa contains of 1 cartridge and the sealing by a powered lifter module.
If the menue "exchange cartridges" is not available, there is a manual exchange possible. But the
procedure is changed; the 1
Otherwise there is a danger of blocking or damaging the print head assemblies drive.
For lifting the unit there is a drill-hole in the cover of the ink swamp. (This modified cover will be used
in the whole Post base family)
procedure:
a) lift: insert stylus  turn right ¼ (= raised)
b) sink: insert stylus  turn left ¼ turn (=lowered)
The print unit remains in the occupied position.
After print unit is rised it can be mooved to exchange position.
