Charging procedure of the power tool
battery
Initial operating of the power tool
The power tool is supplied with a partially charged
battery 9. Before the first use, the battery 9 must
be fully charged.
Charging process (see fig. 4)
• Press the battery lock 6 and remove the battery 9
(see fig. 4.1).
• Connect the charger 19 to the power supply�
• Insert battery 9 into charger 19 (see fig. 4.2).
• Disconnect the charger 19 from power supply after
charging�
• Remove the battery 9 from the charger 19 and
mount battery 9 in the power tool (see fig. 4.3).
Charger indicators (see fig. 5)
Charger indicators 23 and 24 inform of the battery 9
charging process� Signals of the indicators 23 and 24
are shown on the label 25 (see fig. 5).
• Fig� 5�1 - (the green indicator 23 is on, the battery 9
is not inserted in the charger 19) - the charger 19 is
connected to the power network (ready for charg-
ing)�
• Fig� 5�2 - (the green indicator 23 is blinking, the bat-
tery 9 is inserted in the charger 19) - the battery 9 is
being charged�
• Fig� 5�3 - (the green indicator 23 is on, the battery 9
is inserted in the charger 19) - the battery 9 is fully
charged�
• Fig� 5�4 - (the red indicator 24 is on, the battery 9 is
inserted in the charger 19) - the charging process of
the battery 9 is terminated due to inappropriate tem-
perature� When the temperature conditions are nor-
mal, the process of charging will resume�
• Fig� 5�5 - (the red indicator 24 is blinking, the battery 9
is inserted in the charger 19) - the charging process of
the battery 9 is terminated because of its failure� Re-
place the faulty battery 9, its further use is prohibited�
In the process of charging the battery 9
and the charger 19 become hot, it is a
normal process.
Switching the power tool on / off
Switching on:
In order to switch on the power tool, push lock-off button 3
and while holding it in position, push switch button 4�
Switching off:
In order to switch off the power tool, release switch
button 4�
Dust suction during the power tool op-
eration
Dust suction allows reducing dust concen-
tration in the air and prevents its accumula-
tion at the workplace�
When working with the power tool always
use a suction cleaner to suck off the dust form the
treated materials�
Design features of the power tool
Temperature protection (see fig. 6.1)
The temperature protection system enables to auto-
matically deactivate the power tool in case of excess
load or when the temperature of the battery 9 is ex-
ceeding 80°C� The system guarantees protection of
the power tool from damage in case of noncompliance
with the operation conditions�
When this protection system is activated indicators 7
will blink as shown onto fig. 6.1 during 3 seconds.
Overheating protection (see fig. 6.1)
Overheating protection system of the engine automati-
cally switches off the power tool in case of overheat-
ing� In this situation, let the tool cool before turning the
power tool on again�
When this protection system is activated indicators 7
will blink as shown onto fig. 6.1 during 3 seconds.
Overload protection (see fig. 6.1)
Overload protection system of the engine automati-
cally switches off the power tool when it is operated
in a manner that causes it to draw an abnormally high
current�
When this protection system is activated indicators 7
will blink as shown onto fig. 6.1 during 3 seconds.
Overdischarge protection
The battery 9 is protected by the safety system against
deep discharge� In case of complete discharge, the pow-
er tool is automatically switched off� Attention: do not
try to switch on the power tool when the protection
system is activated the battery 9 can be damaged.
Indicators of the state of battery charge (see fig. 6.2)
With the push of the button 8 the indicators 7 show the
state of charge of the battery 9 (see fig. 6.2).
Stroke rate selection
Using the thumbwheel for stroke rate selection 2 one
may select the needed number of stroke of the saw
blade 20 (also when operating the power tool)�
• In order to switch on the power tool, push lock-off but-
ton 3 and while holding it in position, push switch button 4�
• By moving the thumbwheel for stroke rate selection 2,
select the needed number of stroke of the saw blade 20�
