CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

In some regions the water is very hard, some
calcium and magnesium ions will remain in the
water tank and filter, causing the scaling. And too
much scale in the filter can affect the humidifying
effect of the unit.
Clean the water tank and the vaporizing filter
every month.
Drain the remaining water from the water tank.
If you do not use the unit for a long time, do
not leave any water in the tank and let the fil-
ter dry in the natural way.
Warning! Do not place the upper unit part under
a tap or submerge it partially in water. Leaving
the water in the tank for longer than a few days
can cause bacterial growth, so the water should
be replaced with fresh one every day.

Switch off the unit and unplug it before clean-
ing.
Do not use polish, gasoline or other chemical
cleaners for cleaning.
Clean the unit with a soft, slightly damp cloth
and then wipe it dry.
Clean the air inlet and outlet air grids as they
become dirty.
Filling the water tank
Switch the power off, remove the air outlet
grid (1) and the vaporizing filter lid (2).
To remove the vaporizing filter lid (2), turn
it clockwise. There are symbols «
on the lid or easy removal/installing. When
installing, match the lock symbol «
the lid with the mark on the control panel
and turn the lid counterclockwise until
bumping to fix it.
Remove the filter (3) from the water tank (4)
and then clean the tank walls with a soft cloth.
Fill the tank with water and rinse.
If there is scale in the water tank, fill the tank
with water and add 2 tablespoons of vinegar.
Leave the water with vinegar for about half an
hour, then drain it and rinse the tank under the
running water. You can also use a citric acid
descaler to clean the tank.
Cleaning the vaporizing filter
Lift the filter and wait a little until the water from
its bottom part drains back into the water tank.
Then remove the filter from the tank and shake
it slightly over the bathtub or sink holding the fil-
ter with both hands. Do not clean the filter with
the brush or in a washing machine! Wash with
cold running water and let it dry naturally. If the
scale is hard to clean off, soak the filter in a neu-
tral or acidic warm water for 30 minutes before
cleaning.
Plug the unit into the mains
Clean the water tank and the filter,
use clean water
Clean the filter
Check the air inlet grid and remove
any foreign objects

unit on a solid flat surface.
