- Page 2 STRCOM Fused String Combiners Installation and Operation Manual IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS This manual contains important instructions that shall be followed during installation and maintenance of the STRCOM Fused String Combiners. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, and to ensure the safe installation and operation of the combiner, the following safety symbols are used to indicate dangerous conditions and important safety instructions.

STRCOM Fused String Combiners Installation and Operation Manual 1 Introduction The STRCOM String Combiner is a commercial, fused string combiner designed to be used for combining multiple strings of PV modules for connection to an inverter or solar charge controller. With this manual the STRCOM string combiner can be installed and operated safely. -

If there is any question about potential shipping damage, contact Solectria Renewables. A digital photo of the damage may be very helpful. Do not accept unit, if visibly damaged or note visible damage when signing shipping company receipt. - Page 7 STRCOM Fused String Combiners Installation and Operation Manual Because the unit has a NEMA4 rating, it can be mounted outdoors. The combiner is designed to be mounted vertically with all the conduits entering and exiting the bottom (6 x 20”) of the unit. It can be mounted flat as well, but pay extra attention to seals. Install the combiner in an accessible location following NEC codes for enclosure and disconnect door clearances and proximity to other equipment.
