3 Applications
This set is a wireless audio transmission system
that is ideal for speech and vocal applications
(e g for school lessons or presentations) The
configuration of the set varies depending on

The audio transmission system operates in the
UHF range 506 – 542 MHz 16 preset frequencies
are available
Hint: The transmitters are also available as individual
items E-7TB / 5 (pocket transmitter incl lavalier micro-
phone) and E-7TH / 5 (wireless hand-held microphone)
This way, each system can be extended by one or more
transmitters (e g to be able to use either a pocket
transmitter or a hand-held microphone)

4 Connecting the Receiver

1) Connect the audio output AF OUTPUT (9)
to an audio input of the following device
(e g mixer, amplifier): either to a line level
input (possible marking of the input: "Line",
"Aux", "CD", "Tape", "Tuner") or to a
microphone input To reduce the output
level if the audio output is connected to a
microphone input, set the switch OUTPUT
LEVEL (8) to the position "−20 dB"
Note: The output is balanced, but when the cable
with two 2-pole 6 3 mm plugs (supplied with the
system) is used, the connection is unbalanced If
the input on the following device is balanced, a
balanced connection is also possible: To do this,
use a cable with 3-pole plugs instead of the cable
provided (e g for an XLR input, use a cable with
a 3-pole 6 3 mm plug and an XLR plug) Balanced
signal transmission will improve the noise immunity
of a connection which is a particular advantage
with long cables
