2. INTRODUCTION
Portable industrial heater with a fan only and two heat settings. Features PTC heat conducting ceramic elements to achieve an instant,
odour-free heat. Thermostat control to maintain ambient temperature. Includes overheating protection, protecting the user, product and
environment.

4. OPERATION

Unpack the product and check contents. Should there be any damaged or missing parts contact your supplier immediately.
Before use, ensure that you have read and understood Section 1 Safety Instructions.
4.1.
Position the fan heater and the tilt safety switch (fi g 2 - 1) on a fi rm, dry horizontal surface, and plug into the mains power supply.
4.2.
FAN ONLY
4.2.1.
Rotate the thermostat control dial (fi g 1 - 4) clockwise to the MAX position. This will operate the fan heater at full power.
4.2.2.
Rotate the heat selector dial (fi g 1 - 1) clockwise, from the OFF position (fi g 1 - 2) to the fan select position (fi g 1 - 3).
4.3.
TURNING THE FAN ONLY OFF
4.3.1.
To turn the fan off , rotate the heat selector dial, anticlockwise, to the OFF position, and the thermostat control dial, to the MIN
position.
4.4.
FAN HEATER
4.4.1.
Turn the thermostat control dial (fi g 1 - 4) clockwise, until an audible click is heard. Keep turning the thermostat control dial to set the
required room temperature cut off point.
4.4.2.
Rotate the heat selector dial (fi g 1 - 1) clockwise, from the off position (fi g 1 - 2) to the required power heating position.
4.4.3.
Low power heating position (fi g 1- 5).
4.4.4.
High power heating position (fi g 1 - 6).
4.4.5.
The fan heater will switch on when one of the power heating positions is selected.
4.5.
TURNING THE FAN HEATER OFF
4.5.1.
Rotate the thermostat control dial anticlockwise to the MIN position.
4.5.2.
Rotate the heat selector dial, anticlockwise, to the FAN position (fi g 1 - 3).
4.5.3.
Allow the fan heater to cool down for approx. two minutes, then turn the heat selector dial to the OFF position.
4.5.4.
Remove the plug from the mains supply.
4.6.

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

4.6.1.
The fan heater is fi tted with a thermostatic control which automatically turns the fan heater on and off to maintain the selected
ambient room temperature.
WARNING! When the heater is used for the fi rst time it may emit a slight emission of smoke. This is normal and it will cease after a
short time.
4.7.
TILT SAFETY SWITCH
WARNING! If the fan heater is accidentally knocked over during use, the tilt safety switch (fi g 2 - 1) will automatically turn the fan
heater off .
If this occurs, remove the plug from the mains supply, and turn the fan heater off as described in sections 4.3 and 4.5. To turn the fan
heater on again, follow the instructions as described in sections 4.1, 4.2 and 4.4.
