• Check the connection of the purge sensor cable connector (purge
sensor and logic board ends), and the conductivity of the joint cable.

Reconnect/replace
purge sensor cable.
Measuring point Sensor
IC1 (MPU) Open
Pin No. 27 Closed
• With the power ON, remove the purge
unit and manually rotate the drive gear
to open and close the sensor, and check
the measuring point.

Replace purge sensor.
• With the purge unit removed, manually rotate the drive gear in
both directions to check that it moves smoothly.

Service/replace
