1. TO USE IN SAFETY
Caution for the DCBL motors
For repair, disassembly or servicing, contact the vender or Hitachi authorized distributors.
Repair and disassembly must be done by specialists.
There is danger of electric shock, injury and/or fire.
Magnet of the motor rotor for the DCBL motor is magnetized.
Keep those who have electronic medical devices such as pace makers away from the magnet. These medical
devices may malfunction.
It may cause fatal danger to those who have electronic medical devices.
Do not connect to other devices than the DCBL controller.
There is danger of electric shock, injury and/or fire.
Very strong magnetic attractive force or magnetic repelling force occurs between magnetized part of the
motor rotor and other rotors or other magnetic material such as iron piece, iron jig/tools.
Pay attention to handling when assembling the magnetized motor because hands may be stuck in
between or attractive/repelling force may break the balance and cause unexpected infury.
Pay attention in handling as the magnetized parts tends to adsorb contaminant such as iron powder.
If the part is used with contaminant adsorbed, it may cause malfunction.
Do not move the magnetized part of the magnet rotor close to electronic devices.
It may effect measurement panel and control panel, and may cause malfunction or accident.
Do not move the magnetized part of the magnet rotor close to magnet tape, floppy disk, prepaid card, ticket,
watch, brown screen etc.
Magnetic records may be broken or damaged by magnetization.

CAUTION
When the DCBL motor is disposed of, follow the regulation on industrial
waste. Before disposition, the magnet rotor must be thermally
demagnetized by heating with gas burner or oven up to 500 deg.C
