● Replace the lubricant in whole every two years.
● Be sure to drain oil in use (old oil) with condensate in whole before replacement.
● Be sure to use genuine synthetic oil (NEW HISCREW OIL NEXT) for lubricant.
● Make sure the oil separator tank internal pressure gauge reads 0 MPa.
D o not attempt to determine internal pressure from the pressure gauge on the instrument panel. (If
not connected to the air tank, the pressure reading of the instrument panel may drop to 0 MPa before
the oil separator tank internal pressure due to unit exit pressure.)
● If oil is so deteriorated as to produce the sludge or to be green, you can not recover the system's
function even by cleaning the oil cooler, oil separator tank and oil piping. You may have to replace the
oil cooler and overhaul the entire system (including the air end).

4.3.2 How to drain and fill oil
① Prepare as follows:
  - Press the STOP button.
  - Disconnect the power.
  - Open the front door and make sure the oil sepa-
rator tank internal pressure gauge reads 0 MPa.
  - Remove the front door, rear cover and left
cover.
② Drain oil from the oil separator tank as follows:
Remove the oil drain port's, plug, attach a pipe
with screw diameter 1/2 inch about 150 mm
long to the oil drain port valve, place an oil pan
beneath the opening of the pipe and open the
valve. After making sure the lubricant has been
completely drained, close the valve, remove the
pipe and mount the plug.
③ Drain oil from the oil cooler as follows:
Place the oil pan and unplug the oil drain port.
After making sure the lubricant has been com-
pletely drained, and plug the oil drain port.
④ Drain oil from the air end as follows:
Place an oil pan beneath air end oil drain port
1 and air end oil drain port 2, remove the plug.
After making sure the lubricant has been com-
pletely drained, mount the plug.
⑤ Fill oil into the oil separator tank as follows:
Unplug the oil filling port. Fill oil (NEW HISCREW
OIL NEXT) until oil level reaches the upper red
line. Plug the oil filling port.
⑥   M ake sure that all the plugs and valves are firm-
ly tightened. Attach the front door and the rear
cover and left cover.
⑦   C onnect the power, press the START button,
and operate the HISCREW compressor for 7 to

separator tank.
The level will lower because some of it is circu-
lating in pipes or oil cooler.
⑨   P ress the STOP button, make sure that the Oil
separator tank internal pressure gauge reads
0 (zero) MPa, and then disconnect the power.
Replenish oil as required.
⑩ Firmly tighten the oil filling port plug.
⑪   R econnect the power, press the START button,
and make sure that oil level is normal during
