Make the jaw angle of the back vice:
• Loosen M10 socket head cap screws and lever handle lock screws (Fig.8).
• Rotate the rear vice jaws to the desired angle
• Use the provided hex wrench to firmly tighten the hex screw, and then tighten the lever handle locking screw.
Warning: The lever handle locking screw has a spring-loaded repositionable lever. It may be necessary to reposition the lever to ensure that the locking screw
can be fully tightened when the rear vice jaws are angled. To reposition the lever on the screw, pull the lever up and rotate the lever to a convenient position
(a position that allows tightening the screw) to release the lever and tighten the screw. Front vice jaws will automatically compensate for any set angle of the
rear jaws, or adapt to irregularly shaped workpieces.
Reposition the rear vice
The rear vice jaws can be removed from the machine base and repositioned (Fig.9).
Repositioning steps:
• Remove M10 socket screws and lever handle lock screws, and all the washers that lock the lower jaw to the machine base.
• To remove the locking screw handled by the lever, use a flat head screwdriver unscrews the locking screw from its maintenance position, and pull the lever
and hold the spring.
• After repositioning the vice jaws, since there are six on the machine base threaded holes, so there are three possible positions available.
• Replace the locking screw and sleeve head screw with the lever new repair location. Make sure that all standard and lock washers are position correctly.
Reposition the rear vice jaws to the rear position and enable cutting the rear tiger in a more forward position of wider block of jaws.
Quick adjustment mechanism
• For speed and convenience, the vice operating mechanism is equipped with quick forward rod. Use it to quickly adjust the front vice.
• Raise the "Quick-fit nut" (Fig.11A).
• Slide the front jaw to the desired position
• Return the "Quick-fit nut" to its installation position (Fig.11B).
Warning: "Quick-fit nut" must be returned to its maintenance position, and fully mesh with the thread on the long vice screw.
Before clamping, pulling back slightly on the handle of the vice will help make sure to install the "Quick Install Nut".
Using without "quick-fitting nuts" is dangerous for the machine to fully mesh with the vice thread, do not try.
• Tighten the vice to fix the workpiece.
• Check the safety of the workpiece before cutting.
Prepare for cutting according to operating instructions
• Maintain a good foothold and balance and stand aside.
CAUTION: The minimum length of cut piece must be 8 mm (5/16 inch) or more longer to avoid the blade falling out of the blade slot and causing any poten-
tial danger (Fig.12).
Warning: Freehand cutting is the main cause of accidents and should not be tasted.
• Make sure the workpiece is firmly fixed in the vice.
• Before clamping the workpiece in place, the machine base should be clean, no any chips or sawdust etc.
•After cutting, make sure that the "cut" material can be freely removed from the blade moves laterally. Make sure that the"cut-off" parts will not stuck.
• Do not use this saw to cut small pieces. If your hand is near the workpiece being cut within 150mm of the saw blade, the pieces are too small. The angle
should be clamped in the inverted position so that the tip of the section on top.
6. On / off switch
This machine is equipped with a safe start trigger switch.
To start the tool:
• Use your thumb to press the safety lock button on the side of the handle.
• Press the main trigger switch to start the motor.
Warning: Never start the saw when the cutting edge of the saw blade is in contact with the surface of the workpiece.
7. Cutting steps
• Place the cutting head in the upper position, turn on the motor and allow it to run at full speed.
• Gently lower the cutting head
• Firstly, use a slight pressure to slowly introduce the blade into the material to prevent the blade from being caught.
• Gradually increase the pressure when the blade enters the workpiece. Don't 'force' the machine, let the blade do the work.
Note: By applying excessive pressure on the machine, the cutting performance will not improve, doing so may reduce blade and motor life.
• Reduce pressure when the blade starts to exit the material.
• After cutting, the cutting head returns to the upper position, and then turn off the motor.
• Only after the motor is completely stopped and the fixed blade is covered by the lower blade shield ,then you can remove your hand or workpiece from the
machine.

Maintenance

Note: Any maintenance must be performed with the machine turned off and disconnected from the power supply / battery supply.
•Check that all safety functions and protective devices are operating regularly.
•All motor bearings in this machine are lubricated for life. No further lubrication is required. Use clean the plastic parts of the machine with a clean damp
cloth. Do not use solvents or similar products that may damage plastic parts.
Warning: Do not attempt to clean by inserting sharp objects through the opening in the machine's casing. Use compressed dry air to clean the vents of the
machine. Excessive sparking may indicate dirt or carbon brush wear in the motor. If you suspect that the machine is being repaired and have a qualified
technician replace the brush.
