WARNING! Turning the radio on with the USB-Serial cable plugged into either
the 3.5mm socket in the head or main unit, can cause the radio to think you
wish to update the firmware and you will have a radio that is non-opera�ve
and will have to perform a firmware update before you can use the radio again!!

What's new in 1.78 (31st December 2021)
This is an update only to the Main Unit - the Display Unit firmware should have
v 1.77b from March 2021 loaded.
Added the receiving audio Modifica�on filter to improve the sound quality

and suppress high-frequency noise components.

Improved the AGC algorithm to eliminate the spike noise caused by it.
• Improved the granularity of volume adjustment, the volume value of 0-26 is
increased in steps of 1dB, and the volume value of 27-36 are increased in
steps of 2dB.

What's new in 1.7.7b (21 March 2021)
1. Improved AGC algorithm
1.1 Improved the isola�on of close to channels (increased by about 30dB).
1.2 Eliminated the impact noise of the speaker when switching between
receiving and transmi�ng.
2. When connected to GSOC, all sounds in CW mode will be played by the
G90/S speakers. If the modem func�on is turned on, the sounds will be
played via the GSOC.
