2.2.9 Assembling delivery valve
(a) Do not reuse the O-ring.
(b) Install a new O-ring so that it is not cut with
threads of the valve holder.
Assemble the delivery valve, delivery valve gasket and
delivery valve spring. Then with the O-ring installed,
temporarily tighten the delivery valve holder.
2.2.10 Assembling control sleeve
Assemble the plunger with its slit side faced to the
adjusting plate mounting side.
(1) Assemble the control sleeves and the control rack so
that the central tooth of each sleeve is aligned with the
corresponding notch on the rack.
(2) Insert the plunger into the hole in the sleeve.
2.2.11 Assembling tappet
Always use new lock plate. Never reuse the lock plate
that has been removed.
With the tappet pushed in, move the control rack. When the
tappet's groove and the tappet guide pin hole in the pump
housing are aligned, install the lock plate and the pin.
