Burner Orifice; Injector Body - L.B. White I17 Owner's Manual And Instructions

1. Shut off the gas supply to the inlet of heater.
- Follow the service procedures for "Injector Body" of
the service instructions.
2. Using a 6 mm hex nut driver, remove either orifice
head from the orifice body by turning counter-
clockwise.
3. Use compressed air to clean the orifice hole Do not
push or poke any small file, broach, etc. through
orifice hole. Doing so may enlarge hole, causing
combustion problems. Reinstall orifice head back
into the orifice body. Make sure you do not
overtighten the orifice as overtightening can strip the
threads in the injector body.
1. Close fuel supply valves to the inlet of the heater.
2. Remove hose from inlet of heater.
3. Loosen the thermocouple nut at the pilot control
valve.
4. Loosen the screw located on the injector body which
secures the thermocouple retaining clip.

5. Loosen compression nut at outlet of pilot relight
regulator.
6. Loosen injector tube screw.
7. Pull injector body from heater.
8. To assemble, reverse these procedures.
