A Profile is a set of parameters which define the characteristics of the connection which will be established with the

contact at call time
A Profile specifies the preferred audio encoding formats to be used during the communication, the intended Quality

of Service class, and optional codec parameters.

Profiles are either downloaded on the unit through a network Connection Book (please refer to Chapter 3.3 for use

of Connection Books) or edited locally on the unit as User Profile in this page.

It is possible to create locally up to three different User Profiles.

User Profile Number   enables selection of the intended User Profile.
Default jitter buffer : select No to specify a jitter buffer value for the receiving codec. This value will

overwrite the jitter buffer defined locally on the receiving codec.
Outgoing stream settings : defines the audio stream characteristics. Please note contrary to the Profiles

defined in a Connection Book, only one audio encoding format can be specified for each User Profiles.
Incoming stream settings : set if the incoming stream has the same audio encoding settings than the

outgoing stream. If not, one can set parameters for the incoming stream (meaning the stream sent back to

the codec, only apply for Digigram codecs).

2.5.6. SD Card

IQOYA supports SDHC cards formatted in FAT 32.

The SD card is also used during a restart of the codec to store the log file before the restart and to load it during the

restart of the codec. This allows keeping the log file contents when the equipment is properly restarted from its

WEB interface.

2.5.7. SD Card Backup

The full configuration of the codec can be saved to the SDHC card or loaded from the SDHC card. The saving and

loading of a configuration to/from an SDHC card can be done from the WEB pages of the IQOYA in this menu

(Preferences/System/SD card Backup)

2.5.8. Firmware Update

IQOYA can be updated with a new firmware, a patch, or new license. The first phase consists in uploading and

checking the software package; during this phase, the audio activity is not stopped. The second phase consists in

applying the uploaded package; audio activity is stopped during this phase.
