The milk is not frothed
Steam delivery stops
The appliance does not come on
The infuser cannot be extracted
The cappuccino maker (A10) is dirty.
The selection ring (A9) on the cap-
puccino maker (A10) is in the "MILK"
position.
A safety device stops steam delivery
after 3 minutes.
It is not plugged into the mains socket. Plug into the mains socket.
The main switch (A21) is not turned on. Press the main switch (fig. 2).
The appliance has not been turned off

Clean the cappuccino maker as described in
the corresponding section "10.2 Cleaning the
cappuccino maker after use.".
Push the ring into the "CAPPUCCINO" position.
Wait, and then enable the steam function
again.
Turn the appliance off by pressing the
ton (B1) (see "7. TURNING THE APPLIANCE OFF").
