• Wheel bearings

a. Install the new wheel bearings in the reverse
order of disassembly.

NOTICE
Do not contact the wheel bearing inner race
"1" or balls "2". Contact should be made
only with the outer race "3".
TIP
Use a socket "4" that matches the diameter of
the wheel bearing outer race.

3. Install:
• Rear wheel sensor rotor
Rear wheel sensor rotor bolt
8 Nm (0.8 m·kgf, 5.8 ft·lbf)
LOCTITE®
ECA2S31010
NOTICE
Replace the wheel sensor rotor bolts with
new ones.

4. Install:
• Bearing retainer

a. Tighten the bearing retainer "1" with a hexa-
gon wrench (41) "2".

NOTICE
The bearing retainer has left-handed
threads. To tighten the retainer, turn it coun-
terclockwise.

5. Install:
• Rear wheel drive hub "1"
• Dust seal
• Rear wheel drive hub stopper "2"
• Dust cover
TIP
LLL
Install the rear wheel drive hub so that the pro-
jection "a" fits between the ends "b" of the rear
wheel drive hub stopper.
