Preventive Maintenance
• Preventive Maintenance reduces downtime and maximizes machines efficiency.
Customer Care Service can provide advice on the best maintenance plan to be
purchased based on the intensity of use and the age of the equipment.
Repair and extraordinary maintenance
• Repair and extraordinary Maintenance must be carried out by specialised authorised
personnel. The manufacturer declines any liability for any failure or damage caused by
the intervention of an unauthorized technician and the original manufacturer warranty
will be invalidated.

Ordinary maintenance

• Do not clean the machine with jets of water or steam cleaner.
• Put the machine in safe conditions before starting any maintenance operation.
• Contact with chemical substances (e.g. detergent, rinse aid, scale remover, etc.) without
taking appropriate safety precautions (e.g. personal protection equipment) can involve
exposure to chemical risk and possible damage to health. Therefore always refer to the
safety cards and labels on the products used.

Service

PRECAUTIONS TO BE OBSERVED BEFORE AND DURING SERVICING TO AVOID
POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY
• Do not operate or allow the appliance to be operated with the lid open.
• Make the following safety checks on all appliances to be serviced before activating the
magnetron or other microwave source, and make repairs as necessary:
1. interlock operation
2. proper lid closing
3. seal and sealing surfaces (arcing, wear, and other damage)
4. damage to or loosening of hinges and latches
5. evidence of dropping or abuse
• Only original spare parts can ensure the safety standards of the appliance.
• Before turning on microwave power for any service test or inspection within the
microwave generating compartments, check the magnetron, wave guide or
transmission line, and cavity for proper alignment, integrity, and connection.
• Any defective or misadjusted components in the interlock, monitor, lid seal, and
microwave generation and transmission systems shall be repaired, replaced, or
adjusted by procedures described in this manual before the appliance is released to
the owner.

Machine disposal

• Dismantling operations must be carried out by specialised personnel.
• Work on the electrical equipment must only be carried out by specialised personnel, with
the power supply disconnected.
• Dismantling operations of appliances which use flammable insulation blowing gases
must be carried out by specialised personnel.
• Dismantling operations of appliances which use R744 (with a refrigeration system under
high pressure) must be carried out by specialised personnel.
• Make the appliance unusable by removing the power cable and any compartment
closing devices, to prevent the possibility of someone becoming trapped inside.
