    The integrated case fan is connected to a connecting cable via the "accessory A in" ac- cessory connection. Corresponding setting parameters are preconfigured and cannot be changed.     5.1.1 Rack installation The electronic drive unit housing TCP 1200 consists of a 19" component rack for instal- lation in a rack cabinet.  Insert the device horizontally in the guide rails of a 19"/3HE rack and screw on the front panel securely with four fixing screws.

    Remote control is possible via the 26-pin D-sub connector labelled "remote" on the elec- tronic drive unit. The accessible individual functions are mapped to "PLC levels".  Remove the remote plug from the TCP 1200 and connect a remote control unit. Pin assignment of the connector according to table.

    6.2.5 RS-485 One Pfeiffer Vacuum display and control panel (DCU or HPU) or an external PC can be connected respectively to the electronic drive unit via Pin 24 and Pin 25 of the connec- tion "remote" on the electronic drive unit.

    The connection designated "RS-485" on the electronic drive unit is occupied with the built-in display and control unit DCU 002. The external connection of a Pfeiffer Vacuum handheld programming unit (HPU) or a PC is possible. The interface is electrically iso- lated from the maximum supply voltage of the electronic drive unit.

    All function-relevant variables of a turbopump are anchored in the electronic drive unit as parameters. Each parameter has a three-digit number and a designation. Parameters can be used via Pfeiffer Vacuum display and control units or via RS-485 with the Pfeiffer Vacuum protocol.

    Pfeiffer Vacuum recommends the intermittend mode between 5 and 10 hPa. A pressure gauge and a dosing valve are required to set the switching thresholds.
