Cargo cover
Safety information
Warning
Loose objects or devices with a cable connec‐
tion to the vehicle, for instance mobile phones,
can be thrown about the car's interior while
driving, for instance in the event of an accident,
braking or evasive maneuver. There is a risk of
injury. Secure loose objects or devices with a
cable connection to the vehicle in the car's in‐
terior.
Warning
An incorrectly inserted cargo cover can be
thrown about the car's interior, such as in the
event of an accident or a braking or evasive ma‐
neuver. There is a risk of injury and risk of dam‐
age to property. Make sure the cargo cover is
securely engaged in the brackets.
Removing the cargo cover
The cover can be removed to load bulky lug‐
gage.
Cargo cover in the tailgate
1.
Pull the cargo cover with both hands by the
outer sides, arrows 1, to disengage it from
the brackets.
2.
Push the cargo cover upward, arrow 2, and
remove it.

Push the rear edge of the cargo cover up and
out of the side brackets, arrow 1.
2.
Remove cargo cover, arrow 2.
Stowing the cargo cover
The individual cargo covers can be removed and
stowed under the cargo floor panel when trans‐
porting bulky items.
1.
Fold up the cargo floor panel.
2.
Stow the cargo cover from the tailgate with
the top side up in the left recess.
3.
Stow the cargo cover from the cargo area in
the right recess.
4.
Close the cargo floor panel completely.
Inserting the cargo cover
Proceed in the reverse order to reinstall. Make
sure that the cargo covers are positioned cor‐
rectly in the brackets and that they clearly en‐
gage.
