Headers
Onboard Fan Header
Seven 4-pin fan headers (FAN1~6, FANA) are located on the motherboard to provide CPU/
system cooling. These fan headers support both 3-pin fans and 4-pin fans; however, onboard
fan speed control is available only when all 4-pin fans are used in the motherboard. Onboard
fan speeds are controlled by thermal management via the BMC (or by IPMI). See the table
below for pin definitions.
