About This Manual
This manual is written for system integrators, IT technicians, and knowledgeable end users.
It provides information for the installation and use of the X11DAC motherboard.
About This Motherboard
The Super X11DAC motherboard supports dual Intel® Xeon Scalable-SP and 2nd Generation
Intel® Xeon Scalable-SP processors (Socket P) with a TDP (Thermal Design Power) of up
to 205W and 2 UPIs (Ultra Path Interconnect) of up to 10.4 GT/s (Note 1 below). With the
Intel C621 chipset built-in, this motherboard supports up to three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, three
PCIe 3.0 x8 slots, eight SATA 3.0 connections, and 4TB of 3DS LRDIMM/LRDIMM/3DS
RDIMM/RDIMM/NVDIMM DDR4 ECC 2933*/2666/2400/2133 MHz memory in 16 DIMM slots.
(*Note 2 below). This motherboard also supports up to 5TB memory with DCPMM modules
installed. This motherboard is optimized for PCIe expansion with flexible IO support, and is
ideal for workstations, computer-aided design, and visualization platforms. Please note that
this motherboard is intended to be installed and serviced by professional technicians only.
For processor/memory updates, please refer to our website at
products/.
Notes: 1. UPI/memory speeds are dependent on the processors installed in your sys-
tem. The X11DAC supports Intel C621. 2. Support for 2933MHz memory is dependent
on the CPU SKU. 3. Populating DDR4 memory modules in a two-DIMMs per-channel
(2DPC) configuration on this motherboard will affect memory bandwidth and perfor-
mance.
