WARNING: Do not remove the detector housing cap or junction box cover while the circuits are energized unless the area is determined to be non-hazardous. Keep the detector housing cap and junction box cover tightly closed during operation.

  • Page 16 Replacing the Plug-In CO sensor CAUTION: The sensor contains electrolyte which is a dilute acid. Do not disassemble the sensor when replacing it with a new one. If sensor electrolyte comes in contact with your skin, wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water. WARNING: The CO sensor will not operate properly if the wire jumper is not removed.
