CAUTION: If you suspect the presence of H S in the monitoring environment, use the calibration kit and a zero air calibration cylinder to introduce “fresh air” to the S detector and verify an accurate zero setting.

Recommended action Replacing the Plug-in H2S Sensor CAUTION: The plug-in sensor contains electrolyte which is a dilute acid. Do not disassemble the sensor when replacing it with a new one. If sensor electrolyte comes in contact with your skin, wash affected area thoroughly with soap and water.

WARNING: The H S sensor will not operate properly if the wire jumper is not removed. Remove jumper WARNING: You must replace the plug-in sensor with the same type of sensor that is installed. A detector cannot be converted from one type of detector to another by using a different plug-in sensor.
