Under manual mode, if the shift timing selected by the
driver is unreasonable, such as upshifting when the engine
speed is too low or downshifting when the vehicle speed
is too high, the transmission will not respond and the
vehicle will still drive in the original gear.

this time, the transmission will automatically upshift to the
adjacent high gear to protect the engine.
Under manual mode, when the ECO function is enabled
and the system determines that gear shifting is needed, the
message centre of the instrument pack will display an Up
or Down arrow next to the gear number, prompting the
driver to upshift or downshift when conditions permit. For
more information on ECO, please refer to "Economical and
Environmental Driving" in this section.
