Transmission Failures
When the transmission fails, the engine emission fault
warning lamp on the instrument pack will illuminate. In
case of some faults, the transmission may enter limp mode,
and the vehicle could only run in certain gears, and may
not be able to run in the R gear in some cases. For severe
functional malfunctions, the vehicle will not be able to run.
Note: In such a case, please contact an MG Authorised
Repairer for service as soon as possible.
Note: Under limp mode, manual mode is disabled.
