4a. If your system conta ns a VT2L or VT2G transm tter, locate the
Open arrow on the rear of ts battery door and press down and forward
(away from the belt cl p), then l ft up. As shown n the llustrat on below ;
the battery door s h nged and not ntended to be removed from the
transm tter case. Please use care when open ng th s door as undue
force w ll destroy the h nge.
9. Now t ' s t me to set the aud o levels. Turn on your connected
ampl f er and/or m xer but keep ts volume all the way down. Next,
make sure that your transm tter s unmuted, as follows:
7. Turn the Volume knob on the rece ver completely counterclockw se.
Connect the suppl ed AC300R adapter to the DC Input on the rear panel
of the rece ver, then plug the AC300R adapter nto any standard AC
outlet. The " Power " LED w ll l ght up, but all other LEDs w ll rema n unl t.
5. Place a fresh 9-volt alkal ne battery n the transm tter battery holder,
tak ng care to observe the polar ty mark ngs. If you are us ng a VT2L or
VT2G transm tter, replace the battery door by sw ng ng t down so that t
s parallel w th the rear panel and then gently push ng upward towards
the belt cl p. If you are us ng a VH2 transm tter, replace the bottom
sect on of the m crophone by sl d ng t on and then screw ng t back on.
Wh chever transm tter you are us ng, leave t off for the moment.
8. Turn on the power to the VT2L, VT2G or VH2 transm tter (us ng ts
Power on-off sw tch); ts " Battery " LED should br efly l ght f the battery s
good. If your system conta ns a VR2 rece ver, the " TXON " LED on ts
front panel w ll l ght. If your system conta ns a VR22 or VR22X rece ver,
e ther the " A " or " B " LED on the front panel w ll l ght (depend ng upon
wh ch antenna s rece v ng the stronger s gnal).
Then set the Volume knob on the rece ver to the 3 o'clock pos t on (th s
s un ty ga n). If you are us ng the VH2 transm tter or f you are us ng the
VT2L transm tter w th a connected laval er m crophone or headset,
speak or s ng nto the m c at a normal performance level wh le slowly
ra s ng the volume of your ampl f er/m xer unt l the des red level s
reached. If you are us ng the VT2G transm tter w th a connected nstru ­
ment, play the nstrument at normal performance level wh le slowly ra s ­
ng the volume of your ampl f er/m xer unt l the des red level s reached.
If you are us ng a VT2L beltpack transm tter equ pped w th a laval er
6. Make the phys cal cable connect on between the rece ver output jack
and the aud o nput of your ampl f er or m xer. If your system conta ns a
VR22X rece ver (prov ded n VLX TD systems equ pped w th handheld,
laval er or headset m crophones), you can use the unbalanced 1/4 " out ­
put jack on the front panel and/or the balanced XLR output jack on the
rear panel. If you are us ng profess onal (+4) equ pment, the balanced
XLR jack s preferable s nce t w ll del ver an electromagnet cally cleaner
s gnal. Leave your ampl f er (and/or m xer) off at th s t me.

4b. If your system conta ns a VH2 transm tter, unscrew the bottom
sect on of the m crophone by turn ng t counterclockw se and then sl de
t off.
• If your system conta ns a VT2L or VT2G transm tter, set ts Mute
sw tch to " Off "
• If your system conta ns a VH2 transm tter, set ts Aud o sw tch to
" On "
