Introduction

Intended Use

This system is a 2 in 1 system designed to measure blood glucose outside the human
body (in vitro diagnostic use) and to measure blood pressure non-invasively. It is
intended for use in the home and in clinical settings as an aid to monitoring the
effectiveness of diabetes control.
It is intended to be used for the quantitative measurement of glucose (sugar) in fresh
whole blood samples drawn from the finger, palm, forearm, upper arm. It should
not be used for the diagnosis of diabetes, or testing on newborns. This system is
also intended to be used to measure non-invasively the systolic and diastolic blood
pressure and pulse rate of an adult individual at home. The blood pressure is measured
by using an inflatable cuff wrapped around the arm.
