2.8 Installing the GPU

1. Remove the power cable and MCIO cables that connect to the motherboard to allow the
riser card bracket to be removed.
2. Remove the riser card bracket by removing the four screws the secure it to the chassis.
3. Insert GPU(s) into the riser card slots and secure them with screws.
4. If the GPU requires more than 75W power, install the optional power cable to the
motherboard connector, JPWR1 (see Section 4.1 for the location).
5. Replace riser card bracket into the chassis, replace the screws, and replace the power
cable and MCIO cables.
