5 Electrical Connection

5.9.2 On the Inverter Side

Proceed as follows to connect the RS485 communication cable to the inverter:
step 1 Prepare the RJ45 plug. Specifically, refer to the related description in section
RS485 Communication
Skip performing the foregoing step 1 when the RS485 communication cable
has been prepared.
step 2 Insert the RJ45 plug into the front plug connector until it makes a clicking sound, install
the plastic rings then tighten the cable gland with appropriate torque.
step 3 Insert connector of one cable end into Meter / RS485 terminal on the bottom of the
inverter. Make connector and Meter / RS485 terminal engage and rotate clockwise.
step 4 Pull cables outward to confirm whether they are fastened firmly.
