Dual Purpose Scan Button

The Linea Pro 5 uses a single dual-purpose scan button to power on the
unit as well as scanning barcodes. When the Linea Pro 5 is left idling
for an extended period, the power is automatically turned off to
preserve the charge in the internal battery pack.
Power On
When the Linea Pro 5 is in the off mode, pressing the scan button
momentarily turns on the unit. A single beep indicates the Linea Pro 5
is now ready for use.
Pressing the scan button a second time will activate the scanner for
normal bar code scanning.
