Optionally connect a speaker and an external microphone.

Optionally connect a monitor using a Video Out wire. Enable this
function by selecting your signal format at the TV Out field on the Web
interface. See TV Out setting, in the Video Settings section,
Administrator Mode Chapter, GV-IPCAM H.264 Firmware Manual on
the Software DVD.

Optionally connect to input / output devices or an infrared illuminator.

Connect power using one of the following methods:
•
Plug the power adapter to the power port.
•
Use the Power over Ethernet (PoE) function and the power will be
provided over the network cable.

The status LED of the camera will be on.

You are ready to access the live view and adjust the image clarity. See
22. Accessing the Camera in the Quick Start Guide.
