s p a c e will be a c c e s s e d . Subsequent a c c e s s e s to the wi n dow will use the 8 bits in
V M E H I _ _ _ A D D a n d the l o wer 16 bi t s of the C P U ' s a d d r e s s to form the 24 bit VMEbus
address.
F o r e x a m p l e , to read w o r d 1 2 3 4 5 6 H in the V M E b u s s t a n d a r d a d d r e s s s p a c e , configure the
w i n d o w for V M E b u s s t a n d a r d a d d r e s s s p a c e , output 1 2 H to output port VME_HI_ADD
( a d d r e s s 34H), a n d do a word read at a d d r e s s 0 E 3 4 5 6 H . The w o r d ret u rned will b e from
V M E b u s a d d r e s s 123456H.
