Modes of Operation

There are three main modes of operation:
D Manual Mode
D Spray Mode
D Setup Mode
Manual Mode
Manual Mode is used to manually operate the pumps,
which is necessary to load and prime the proportioner,
flush, and troubleshoot the system.
The system is in Manual Mode when it is powered up.
The Manual/Spray Mode light will be off. The system is
changed from Manual Mode to Spray Mode by press-
ing the Manual/Spray Mode Key. See Fig. 16.
Spray Mode
Spray Mode is used during normal operation, when
material is being sprayed. When the system is in Spray
Mode, the Manual/Spray Mode light is green. See
Fig. 16.
Setup Mode
Setup Mode is used to change the values the control
uses to operate the system and to access information
about the system (such as the software revision). The
system must be in Manual Mode to access Setup
Mode. See page 25 for more information on Setup.

Function Keys
The eight function keys are used to operate and set up
the system. Icons above the keys represent the func-
tion of the keys. See Fig. 16.
The use of each key is further described, starting on
page 27. A Keypad Quick Reference table is in the
Operation Manual 308875, included with the system.
Up and Down Arrow Keys
The up and down arrow keys are used to scroll
through values in Manual and Spray Modes and to
adjust values in Setup Mode.

Lights
Except for the Manual/Spray Mode key, the keypad
light will turn green for the key that is pressed (active
function).
If an alarm occurs, the lights for that alarm will turn red
on the schematic panel.
NOTE: There are more alarm functions in Spray Mode
than in Manual Mode.
Display
The information on the display will correspond to the
active function key.
