1.2 Receiver SIEM-111 / R5, earphones IE-1 (fig. 3)

18 Volume control for the earphones combined with
an on-off switch; when the control locks into place
at the left stop, the receiver will be switched off

tween the left and right channels in stereo opera-

1.3 Display on the receiver (fig. 4)
a Reception indication; the number of the vertical
lines next to the antenna symbol will indicate the
power of the signal received: the more lines the
better the reception. If no line is shown, the trans-
mitter is switched off or set to a different frequency.
b Key symbol; will be indicated when the lock func-
tion is activated
c Charging status for the batteries:

MONO:
both channels can be heard with both
ears; the balance control (19) will define
the mixing ratio of the two signals
STEREO: each ear will only hear the signal of its
channel; the balance control will define
the volume ratio between the two ears

f Indication HF when the high frequencies boost is
selected
g Indication LIM when the limiter is activated
h Indication MUTE when the receiver mutes the
audio signal (e. g. when switching over the fre-

k Indication of the menu items in the adjusting menu;
the corresponding menu item will flash when it is

MONO: the input signals of the two channels are
mixed and sent as a mono signal
ST:
the input signals of the two channels are
separately sent as a stereo signal
m Indication ATT -10dB when the input attenuation is
switched on
n Level control indication for the signals of the left "L"
and right "R" input; the stronger the signal, the
more segments the corresponding bar graph will
show. When "PEAK" is displayed on the right of a
bar graph, the corresponding channel is overload -
ed: Reduce the input level with the VOLUME con-
trol (6) accordingly or switch on the input attenua-

o Indication LOCK when the lock function is activat -
ed
p Indication MUTE when the transmitter mutes the
audio signal e. g. for a few seconds when changing
the transmission frequency
q Indication of the channel group A – D selected
r Indication of the channel number 1 – 16 selected
from the channel group (q) indicated
s Indication of the transmission frequency
