2. It is the Dealer's responsibility to ensure the customer has been properly trained on the MEC2 system. 3. Before any work outlined in this manual is done on the MEC2 system, the individual completing this work must have a good, working knowledge of the MEC2 system. If you are not familiar with the programming side of the MEC2, do not complete any work outlined in this manual.

2. Check the Ethernet cable for proper wiring convention. The Ethernet cable must utilize a straight-through EIA 568A or EIA 568B wiring convention. The crossover convention is NOT ALLOWED and may result in damage to the MEC2 system. It is highly recommended to utilize a LAN tester to ensure each RJ45/EZ-RJ45 connector is terminated properly.

4. Check to make sure both jumpers on the Ethernet port have been removed. If present, remove and discard. If communication from the touchscreen to the relay boards is still an issue, contact Jaypro Sports to further troubleshoot. Be prepared to send photos of the touchscreen and relay enclosures. We will also need to know the project location, date of installation, and type/number of devices connected to the system.
