Changing the Far-End Disconnect
Setting
NOTE:
This setting should not have to be modified. The far-end disconnect
setting may only need to be changed if the system is operating in

Switch 1, which is located inside the MERLIN LEGEND MAIL base module,
specifies the far-end disconnect signal. If Switch 1 is set to OFF, the far-end
disconnect is set to reliable forward disconnect signal (that is, the CO sends a
reliable forward disconnect signal). If Switch 1 is set to ON, the far-end
disconnect is set to busy tone signal (that is, the CO sends busy tone to signal
far-end disconnect). By default, Switch 1 is set to OFF (that is, the MERLIN
LEGEND MAIL system is set to reliable forward disconnect signal).
