Starting the device
1 Energize the device.
The device will boot.

2 If the device does not boot up and/or if an error message appears while starting (booting) the
device, see Chapter 7.4 Troubleshooting,  61
3 Complete the following steps after initial commissioning ( Document «System Description

3.1 Adjust the system settings of the device.
3.2 Install the required application programs.

The lifespan of the backlight can be increased by reducing the brightness ( Document
«System Description Windows CE MN05010007Z (operation of the Windows CE operat-
ing system on touch displays)»).

Switch off the device

1 De-energize the device.
