Use screened twisted pair cable (STP) for networking:

For device to device connection (crossover cable)

For connecting to the hub/switch: 1:1 patch cable

Maximum cable length: 100 m.

CAUTION
Forces on the Ethernet interface
Communications may be affected, and the connection's mechanical components
may be damaged, if the Ethernet interface is subjected to strong vibrations or the
RJ45 plug-in connection is subjected to pulling.
Protect the RJ45 plug-in connection from strong vibrations.

Protect the RJ45 plug-in connection from tensile forces at the socket.

Eaton recommends implementing measures for protecting against cyberattacks.

