MARKERS

Operation

The marker cylinders are connected to a tractor remote
hydraulic circuit that also operates the tongue height and
frame fold cylinders. A hydraulically operated sequence
valve permits the markers to alternately raise and lower
each time the tractor control lever is moved.
Before operating the markers:
Move the PLANT/OFF/TRANSPORT switch to PLANT.
Move the MARKERS switch to ON.

WARNING: Do not stand under markers.
Clear
bystanders
operating markers.
If both markers must be lowered, lower one marker to the
ground, then move the hydraulic lever to raise. Just as the
lowered marker cylinder begins to retract, move the lever
to lower the other marker will lower.
NOTE: If a marker begins to raise, it cannot be lowered
until after it is fully raised. On tractors with
pressure detent remote valves, the control lever
will have to be held until marker is fully raised or
lowered.

Marker Sequence Valve

FIG. 21: The marker sequence valve (1) provides
automatic marker cycling after one marker is raised, the
opposite marker is lowered. The marker operation is
reversed the next time the circuit is activated.
