FIG. 16: The wings are folded and engaged into the
hitch latch (1) and secured by the wing latch (2). The
planter is now folded, raised and ready for transport.
Make sure the wing latches are engaged before
transporting the planter.

WARNING: Clear bystanders from area
before folding or unfolding planter.

Unfolding Procedure

With PLANT/OFF/TRANSPORT switch in TRANSPORT
use the tractor valve to fully raise the planter.
Press and hold the TONGUE HEIGHT switch. Use the
tractor hydraulic valve and fully raise the tongue.
Remove the tongue cylinder stop. Put the pin and cylinder
stop in the storage position.
Press and hold the WING WHEELS switch. Lower the
wing wheels using tractor hydraulic valve.
Press and hold the TONGUE HEIGHT switch. Lower the
tongue using the tractor hydraulic valve until wings
unlatch.
Press and hold WING FOLD switch to unfold the wings
and wing wheels using the hydraulic tractor valve.
Press and hold the TONGUE HEIGHT switch to fully
lower the tongue using the tractor hydraulic valve.
Move the PLANT/OFF/TRANSPORT switch to PLANT.
Move the MARKERS switch to ON.
The planter is now ready for use and can be raised and
lowered with the tractor hydraulic valve.
