FRAME CONTROL SYSTEM

Control Box Switches

NOTE: There is not any functions at this time for the
Auxiliary switch.
FIG. 14: For convenience, mount frame control box
where folding and unfolding procedures can be observed
while using the box. Route the output wire harness to the
rear of the tractor.
Connect positive (+ black) wire lead to positive 12V
battery terminal and negative (-white) wire to negative
battery terminal. Connect smaller (blue with red) wire to
switched side of tractor key switch so box is de-energized
when tractor is turned off. The connection prevents
battery drain if box is in TRANSPORT or PLANT mode
when not is use.

FIG. 15: PLANT/OFF/TRANSPORT Switch:
Press switch to PLANT for field operation.
Press switch to TRANSPORT for folding frame.
NOTE: To prevent battery drain, ensure that blue with
red wire is wired to the switch side of the tractor
key switch.
Select the desired function with one of the five control box
switches, then control the speed and direction of each
function with one of two tractor hydraulic control levers.
TONGUE HEIGHT Switch: Press and hold switch, then
use tractor hydraulic valve to:
Raise hitch for transport position.
Lower hitch for field operation.
Raise lower tongue to hook/disconnect wings.
WING FOLD Switch: Press and hold switch, then use
tractor hydraulic valve to fold or unfold planter wing
frames.
WING WHEELS Switch: Press and hold switch, then use
tractor hydraulic valve to raise or lower wing wheels
(transport position only).
NOTE: If switch is in PLANT position, the wing wheels
raise and lower with four transport wheels
whether frame is folded or unfolded. If switch is in
TRANSPORT, the WING WHEELS switch must
be pressed to raise and lower wing wheels
independently of transport wheels.
MARKERS Switch: Press switch ON when in field
operating position. Press switch OFF for all other
operations.
