Replace Supplies

You must replace supplies when the machine indicates that the life of the supply is over.
Using non-Fuji Xerox supplies may affect the print quality, hardware performance, and machine reliability. The
toner cartridge and drum cartridge are two separate supplies. Make sure both are installed as an assembly. The
model name of supplies may vary depending on the country.
NOTE
• Contact your local Fuji Xerox office for further details.
• Be sure to seal up the used supplies tightly in a bag so that toner powder does not spill out of the cartridge.
• Discard used consumable items according to local regulations, keeping it separate from domestic waste. If
you have questions, call your local waste disposal office. Be sure to reseal the consumable items tightly so
that the material inside does not spill.
• We recommend placing used and new supplies on a piece of paper to prevent accidentally spilling or
scattering the material inside.
• If you use paper that is not a direct equivalent for the recommended print media, the life of supplies and
machine parts may be reduced.
• The projected life for each of the toner cartridges is based on ISO/IEC 19752. Frequency of replacement will
vary depending on the print volume, percentage of coverage, types of media used, and powering on/off the
machine.

• Handle the toner cartridge carefully. If toner scatters on your hands or clothes, immediately wipe or wash it
off with cold water.
WARNING
• Never use a vacuum cleaner for spilled toner and residual toner in this product, toner cartridge or toner
bottle.It may catch fire by electric sparks inside a vacuum cleaner and cause explosion.Use a broom or a
wet cloth to wipe off the spills. If you spill a large volume of toner, contact your local Fuji Xerox
representative.
• Never throw a toner cartridge into an open flame. Remaining toner in the cartridge may catch fire and cause
burn injuries or explosion.If you have a used toner cartridge no longer needed, contact your local Fuji Xerox
representative for its disposal.
CAUTION
• Keep drum cartridges (or drum if not a cartridge type) and toner cartridges out of the reach of children. If a
child accidentally swallows toner, spit it out, rinse mouth with water, drink water and consult a physician
immediately.
• When replacing drum cartridges (or drum if not a cartridge type) and toner cartridges, be careful not to spill
the toner. In case of any toner spills, avoid contact with clothes, skin, eyes and mouth as well as inhalation.
IMPORTANT
• Fuji Xerox machines are designed to work with toner of a particular specification and will work to a level of
optimum performance when used with Fuji Xerox Original toner cartridges. Fuji Xerox cannot guarantee this
optimum performance if toner or toner cartridges of other specifications are used. The machine may not
detect toner or toner cartridges of other specifications correctly but may instead detect such items as
standard capacity toner cartridges. Fuji Xerox does not therefore recommend the use of cartridges other
than Fuji Xerox Original cartridges with this machine, or the refilling of empty cartridges with toner from other
