Troubleshooting

Problem/Symptom
Pressing mode switch does not
result in green light.
Red light on.
Red light flashes.
Note: if tool has jammed and the mechanism initiates an automatic recovery, the tool may make a series
of clicks as it repositions the driver. This is normal.
Tool will not start or runs slowly.
Tool does not drive fastener to
desired depth.
Probable Cause
Check battery.
PCB is not energized.
Electronic components damaged.
Low battery.
Fastener jam.
Tool does not function.
Battery is discharged or has dead
cell.
Workpiece contact element is
jammed.
Drive piston has failed.
Workpiece contact element or
trigger switches are damaged.
Improper depth-of drive setting.
Tool not pressed firmly against the
workpiece.
Drive application is too rigorous.
Pressure loss.

Corrective Action
Remove and reattach.
Check that trigger and contact are
free to move.
Then choose mode selector.
Return to an authorized service
center.
Recharge or replace battery.
Check battery connection at tool.
Remove battery and re-start.
Tool will attempt to recover.
Remove battery again.
Check if nail is blocking next
fastener.
Inspect magazine for bent nail.
Remove magazine and inspect
guide body.
Return to service center for repair.
Replace or recharge battery.
Remove battery, then inspect
tool to assure free movement of
workpiece contact element.
Return tool to authorized SENCO
service representative.
Return tool to authorized SENCO
service representative.
Refer to operators manual for
proper adjustment.
Hold tool firmly in place when
driving fastener.
Refer to operators manual for
appropriate applications.
Return tool to authorized SENCO
service representative.
